Riolu Hatch Day Timed Research tasks and rewards on Shiv Telegram Media
2 min readNiantic is set to launch a new event in Pokémon Go called Hatch Day, focusing on the exciting task of hatching eggs. The first iteration of this event is centered around the popular Pokémon, Riolu, giving players an increased chance of obtaining it. However, this event comes with a time restriction, running only from 2pm to 5pm local time on July 22, coinciding with a Community Day event.
During the Hatch Day event, Riolu will hatch more frequently from 2km Eggs, and players will also have a higher chance of encountering a shiny Riolu. Additionally, hatching eggs will yield double Stardust, and players can expect to find more 2km Eggs dropping from Poké Stops.
Unfortunately, there are no changes to the egg hatch distance or the inclusion of Incubators as Field Research rewards. However, completing the free Hatch Day Riolu Timed Research will reward players with a valuable Super Incubator. To earn this reward, players need to spin five PokéStops or Gyms, earn candy with their Buddy Pokémon, and complete other Field Research tasks for various rewards.
For those who purchased a ticket for Go Fest 2023: Global, there will be additional Timed Research available. Furthermore, Pokémon Go Plus + device users will have the opportunity to participate in Special Research and encounter an exclusive Snorlax.
Although some trainers view this event as somewhat underwhelming, it still offers easy experience points and a chance to obtain extra goodies. Unfortunately, the author of this article remains unnamed.
