A left ankle sprain at the end of May disrupted Zanotti’s season for three months. It continues to annoy. The number 10 jersey has been playing at the sacrifice ever since.
– About my ankle, at first we chose a conservative treatment, and I was really playing at the sacrifice, with the pain. But today we understand that it is better to have an operation. We’ll just try to find out the best time. I’ve endured with Brazil, maybe some other Libertadores games there as well,” Zanotti said.

The four-time champion of Brazil last Sunday, in the victory over Inter, Zanotti has already won ten titles with Timao, twice in the continental competition.
The midfielder was one of ten players on the field Corinthians who spent time in the medical department defrauding Arthur Elias’ team.

It was important for us to get to the knockout stage with confidence in ourselves. We were able to include 23 players, who would have thought, since I worked a good part of the season with 15 players in training, due to injuries or call-ups – commented Arthur Elias.
