University of Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark has made history by surpassing Lynette Woodard for the most points scored in major women’s college basketball history. Clark broke Woodard’s record by scoring an impressive 33 points in a blowout win over the University of Minnesota.
Woodard, who played for Kansas from 1977 to 1981 under the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women, held the previous record that Clark has now exceeded.
