In April 2017, the game “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” debuted, which today is among the best in the list of many players, with an approval rating of 93%, according to Google users. To improve on what was already good, the latest update promises great news for fans of the game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update

Version 2.3.0 of the game adds five slots Blank on the character selection screen. To the delight of the players, this update is now available for download to install.

Also new is support for Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass DLC, which adds eight courses to the game.

In addition, the DLC (abbreviation for “downloadable content” in Portuguese) also adds Birdo to the roster, which is directly related to Yoshi, becoming the first wave to add a new character instead of just new tracks.

Screen gaps and new characters

In addition to Birdo, as mentioned, the game has also added five spaces that appear as an unknown amount on the selection screen. However, what did Nintendo say about this? In a press release, the video game developer stated:

“Returning characters from the ‘Mario Kart’ series will be added in future waves.”

Thus, it is understood that the gaps will be filled in with new characters.

Moreover, according to the source, all characters except for the “Metal”, “Cruiser”, “Heavy” and “Extra Heavy” categories have increased by one point.

In this way, the update also showed differences at this point. Some of the lighter characters have their mini-turbo stats increased more subtly.
