Factory BMW Group Brazil in AraquarIn North Santa Catarina, the visiting schedule opened for car enthusiasts to get acquainted with the largest factory of luxury cars in South America.
The Santa Catarina plant was founded in September 2014 and has the capacity to produce 32,000 cars per year – in 2022, it is expected that 10,000 vehicles will be produced. Currently, the Araquari plant produces BMW 3 Series, BMW X1, BMW X3 and BMW X4 models.
During a visit to an area of 1.5 million square meters, with more than 112,000 square meters of built area, visitors can get acquainted with all stages of assembly, such as bodywork, painting, finishing and logistics, as well as a test walk with a BMW driver.
The visit takes about three hours and costs R$190. It is possible to take the tour exclusively alone or in a group, as long as 12 available locations are purchased.
