Little Faster than expectedToday, Microsoft announced the general availability of Windows 11 Either for new devices preloaded with Windows 11 or as an upgrade for eligible Windows 10 devices. Offer should arrive in the coming hours, days, or months.

After release to eligible devices, as with previous implementations, Microsoft will study device status data and other signals to determine how quickly Windows 11 will be delivered through Windows Update.

After all, hardware, reliability metrics, and other factors affect the upgrade experience. According to a recent survey, Most professional computers are not yet compatible with the system.

However, if you want to skip the waiting for the update notification part – which isn’t necessarily recommended – you can download the Windows 11 ISO files for installation using the following instructions:

  1. go to the official site from Microsoft;
  2. Under Download a Windows 11 disk image (ISO), click Windows 11, and then click Download. There will only be one option for Windows 11 as this works for the Pro and Home editions.
  3. In Select a product language, choose your language > Confirm.

Microsoft expects that all Windows 10 devices eligible for the Windows 11 upgrade will be submitted by mid-2022. Home and Pro versions of Windows 11 seem.

If you’re running Windows 10 today, you can check if your device is eligible for the update using the PC Health Check app. If so, try going to Settings and then Windows Update and Security. If your device is eligible and the update is ready, just click on the download and install option that will appear.
