Update: One person has been arrested in connection with a mass shooting incident Austin, And the number of injured is now up to 14, according to the office of Mayor Steve Adler.

The shooting took place at 1:30 p.m. At 6th Street, a town has many bars, restaurants and nightclubs that refer to themselves as the live music capital. The street barrier was built to prevent vehicular traffic.
There is no specific information on what happened or what caused the shooting.
“Our officers responded very quickly,” Sacon said. “Many of these patients were able to begin life-saving operations immediately, including the use of tourniquets; applications of chest seals.”
The victims of the shooting were taken to hospital in police cruisers, Sacco said.
Sagon said the shooter’s description was “not very detailed”, but said the person was believed to be a man. Sagon said investigators were considering surveillance video and other evidence from the area.
