A B3, Brazilian stock market, trading starting this Monday (8) will be one more hour. Until last week the stock traded from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Innovatively, the spot market is open until 6pm (Brasilia time).
The decision was announced by B3 in mid-October and was triggered by the end of daylight saving time in the United States on November 7th.
Oh After the market, Which takes place from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, is suspended, except on days of choice. Actions. Future Ipovespa has a new schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. (previously, 5:55 p.m.).
As the Brazilian stock market is heavily traded by foreign investors, B3 changes its schedule every year to keep up with the North American market. When daylight saving time returns to the United States, in March next year, the Brazilian trade session will resume from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
