Protest by paratroopers at baseball prompts police to order US Capitol out | The world

The Capitol, the seat of the U.S. Congress, was briefly evacuated Wednesday night after police warned it was monitoring a plane that was “threatening”, but it was revealed that it was actually a plane. A demonstration, officials told the Associated Press.
The warning to destroy the Capitol came just after 6:30 pm local time.

The single-engine plane reportedly flew around Washington after taking off from the Andrews base in Maryland, two sources familiar with the matter told the AP. The sources said that no notice of departure was issued for the flight and that it did not have proper permission. The consulted sources were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke with the AP anonymously.
The plane carried members of the so-called “Golden Knights of the US Army” and then parachuted into a demonstration at the Washington Nationals Baseball Ground before the game began. The site is about a mile from the American Capitol.
